Building Information Modelling (“BIM”) Creating Project Certainty –  Maoibh Russell, Mitchell Brandtman

BIM is set to be the enabler for a new game in the construction industry as it provides a project with the capability to become more efficient and certain. Used in the UK and Europe for many years now, BIM allows all stakeholders to view a 3D, interactive model of the proposed construction, which can evolve throughout the project as variations occur. The focus has expanded beyond designers just using virtual modelling to now include the benefits of  linking real time costs to these virtual  models. Maoibh, a partner with Mitchell Brandtman, will discuss how technology, including the use of automated drones, has the ability to assist in providing accurate and timely cost advice on projects at any stage.

The doors open at 7am for a strict 7.30am start.

Breakfast will include a light hot breakfast, danishes, fruit, tea, coffee and juice.
